San Diego, CA May 1, 2012: From parking garages to car dealerships to schools and hospitals to retail environments and warehouses, energy efficient lighting is now very popular, according to American Lighting company president Neil Miller. “After years of telling customers how easy it is to save money with lighting retrofits, I think the message is finally getting through. Businesses are pressed to find more ways to save costs and they are finally realizing that older lighting costs them money. All the incentives in the world – and there still are many – don’t make the difference that other economic pressures have brought to bear on California businesses. It is the right environment for even small businesses to change their lighting to more energy efficient choices because the savings are so considerable – in most cases, more than 50%. I am particularly impressed with several recent projects at area auto dealerships. This sector of the market was hit hard during the recent economic downturn, but now we are providing these dealership owners with projects that make economic sense from the minute we finish the project. We recently completed a large project for the Moss Brothers Dealership group in Moreno Valley and they are saving $110,000 per year with their new lights. Stories like this are happening all over California – it is wonderful to be able to help these customers.”

With 25 years of experience, American Lighting is based in San Diego with regional offices in Los Angeles, Oakland, Washington and Fresno. Every installation is custom designed to maximize lighting quality and energy savings.
