BC Premier, Oregon Governor Open GLOBE This Week
Vancouver, Canada – Upwards of 10,000 participants will descend on the Vancouver Convention Centre East Wednesday, March 14th through Friday, March 16th for the 12th edition of the GLOBE Series of Conference and Trade Fairs. Regarded as one of the highest-profile sustainable business summits in the world, GLOBE welcomes the world’s top business leaders, environmental experts and government policy-makers for three days of action packed activities and discussions focused on finding business solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental issues.
GLOBE is marking its 12th biennial conference with a number of firsts, including a large national pavilion by the People’s Republic of China. More than 100 highly qualified representatives from the Chinese business and government communities will be present to showcase the country’s latest clean tech innovations and solutions as well as to seek out other new technologies to address their own environmental challenges.

On Friday, March 16th, GLOBE introduces for the first time a Town Hall: Energy Infrastructure – The Environment and Economy Debate. Whether it’s Keystone XL, Northern Gateway, or new large-scale electricity generation and transmission, sustainable development of energy infrastructure is a critical business and environment issue. Participants will hear from key players engaged in the issues surrounding the development of energy infrastructure in North America.
