MINNEAPOLIS — Cummins Power Generation Inc., a division of Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI), announced the availability of five new G-Drive QSX15 generator engine models that meet the emission standards of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the European Union (EU), available for order in April 2012.

The QSX15 provides EPA Tier 4 interim certification up to 468kW (627hp) 60Hz and EU Stage IIIA certification up to 462kW (619hp) 50Hz. All five engine models are dual speed capable allowing for easy transition between regions with different electrical frequency requirements.

Built on proven technology, the QSX15 is designed for superior fuel economy, performance and dependability while keeping maintenance to a minimum. The QSX15 G-Drive engines feature various combinations of advanced technologies for in-cylinder combustion, air intake and exhaust aftertreatment (EPA Tier 4 interim models) that work together to reduce emissions.

Low emissions combined with standby, prime, and continuous ratings means the QSX15 is capable of meeting your generator requirements.
