By simply twisting the test lead, the user can change the exposed probe tip length from 3/4 in. (19 mm) to 4/25 in. (4 mm). Fully extended, the TL175 Test Leads are safety rated for CAT II 1000 V use. When retracted, the test leads are also safety rated for CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V.

GUASCOR POWER
Guascor Power, formally known as Guascor S.A., part of the Guascor Group, has developed three new series of engines: the SFGM for propane and natural gas, and the HGM series engines using the Miller cycle. The SFGM series utilizes the current configuration, but, with the incorporation of the Miller cycle, Guascor can achieve higher power ratings and better efficiencies. Utilizing this technology, Guascor has also developed the SFGM propane engine series. The HGM series or High Efficiency series is a completely new engine that Guascor developed with the support of AVL, also utilizing the Miller cycle. This series has electrical efficiencies above 40%, and NOx emissions at or below 250 mg Nm3.

SOLECTRIA RENEWABLES
Solectria Renewables, LLC, the leading US PV inverter manufacturer, has installed its commercial inverters at the first photovoltaic system with electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the Southern United States. In partnership with Outpost Solar, the company provided two 13-kW PVI grid-tied inverters for the 20.16-kW system installed at Richland, LLC in Pulaski, TN. Outpost Solar’s parking area solar arrays combine function and form by integrating EV charging. The solar array will generate over 24,000 kWh of electricity annually, which will be used to charge the EVs. The parking area is 55 feet long and 32 feet wide, and will accommodate 12 EVs.

Three new conventional generators from Subaru feature the latest models of EX series overhead cam engines. Available models include the RGX5100, RGX7100, and RGX7800. These are constructed of heavy-duty steel and are durable enough to meet demands of contractors, homeowners, and recreational users. The RGX7800 (pictured) is powered by the 14-horsepower EX40 engine, delivers a maximum output of 7,800 W (6,000-W standard output rating), and offers a continuous operation time of 7.5 hours. All models are available with either a recoil or electric starting system. A high surge capacity allows the generators to take on up to 150% of the rated power for as long as 20 seconds.

UltraTemp Filtration is guaranteed to meet the proposed boiler MACT standards for new and existing biomass boilers and existing coal boilers. It also guarantees performance to less than 0.008 lb/MMBtu. Typical PM removal is 0.001—0.004 lb/MMBtu. In other words, outlet concentration is less than 0.001 grains/dscf or 2.0 mg/Nm3.
